Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis has never tied the knot with anyone. However, he has had several relationships over the years, including his on-again, off-again relationship with American fashion designer and entrepreneur Yohanna Logan otherwise known as Claire Essex.
The pair was together for three years, between 1998 to 2003. During that time, it was reported that some of the singer’s songs, like ‘By the Way’ and ‘Fat Dance,’ were about their relationship.
So, when the singer was asked in a 2002 interview with Penthouse if he had found his soulmate with Yohanna, Anthony replied:
“Yes. What I want is a companion who knows me and knows all sides of me and is that friend I can be myself around, who doesn’t judge me, who I lay down next to.”
He added:
“Every night I go to bed, I get into the same position with my girlfriend that we’ve been getting into for years, and every night it feels like the first time we’ve ever been in that position because it feels so good. To me, that’s a better feeling than being out at a club going, ‘I wonder about this girl, I wonder about that girl.”
Besides Yohanna, Anthony has been involved with many names like Heidi Klum, British singer and songwriter Beth Jeans, Australian actress and model Helena Vestergaard, and most recently, Ukrainian model and dancer Marina Mazepa.
So while keeping in mind the singer’s dating history, Anthony also shared his thoughts with Penthouse about ‘sex.’ He expressed:
“Yeah, it’s great having such a multitude of sexual experiences. I’m lucky that I still even have an interest in sex.”
Currently, the singer has not made it official with anyone new as 0f 2023 and is reportedly single.
