Queen drummer Roger Taylor has announced a brand-new solo album titled Violence Insane In A Beautiful World, set for release on 18 September, as reported on his official Instagram.

Alongside the album announcement, Taylor revealed a new single and an upcoming UK tour. Pre-ordering the album grants exclusive first access to tickets for the Violence Insane In A Beautiful World UK Tour — his only UK dates in 2026.

Speaking about the album’s theme, Taylor offered a candid reflection on the world around him.

“There is a theme, you know — it’s in the title really,” Taylor said. “What a beautiful world we live in; don’t f*ck it up.”

The announcement marks a significant moment for Taylor, whose output as a solo artist has run parallel to his decades-long career with Queen. The new record arrives with a wealth of detail — from a lead single to a full run of UK tour dates — painting a clear picture of an artist with plenty still to say.

Blabbermouth reported that the album will be released on 18 September via Columbia Records. The lead single is titled “Come On Summer (It’s Party Time)” and features The Ndlovu Youth Choir. The track offers an early glimpse into the sonic and thematic direction of the record.

AOL noted that Violence Insane In A Beautiful World is Taylor’s seventh solo album and his first since Outsider, released in 2021. The five-year gap between records makes this one of the more anticipated releases in his solo catalogue.

Stereoboard revealed that the album was produced by Taylor alongside Joshua J. Macrae, a longtime collaborator. The UK tour in support of the album kicks off on 21 September in Newcastle. It includes stops in Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, London, and Swansea, wrapping up on 29 September at the Building Society Arena.

Fans looking to attend the tour are encouraged to pre-order the album, as doing so grants exclusive early access to tickets. This makes it Taylor’s most directly fan-focused release campaign in recent memory.
