Paris Jackson Recalls A Sweet ‘Kanye West Moment’ With Father Michael
Pop icon Michael Jackson‘s daughter, also a musician herself, Paris Jackson opened up about his father’s influence on her music during an interview with ‘The Evening Standard,’ in addition to revealing that the two listened to Kanye West around the house as well.
As many of you might know, while Michael Jackson was touring his most attended tour, ‘HIStory World Tour’ from September 7, 1996, to October 15, 1997, including 82 concerts in five continents, 35 countries, and 58 cities to over 4.5 million fans, he married Debbie Rowe, who was six months pregnant with Jackso’s first child.
The couple welcomed their first child, Michael Joseph Jackson Jr., commonly known as Prince, who was born on February 13, 1997, and his sister Paris-Michael Katherine Jackson was born a year later on April 3, 1998. While Jackson and Rowe divorced in 1999, Rowe left the custody of the children to Jackson.
Growing up with one of the most iconic musicians in the whole world, Paris Jackson opened up about the influence of her father had on her as a musician during an interview. She stated that her father is always going to have an effect on her since she was around that creation process all the time growing up.
Here is what Paris Jackson said:
“I think he’ll always influence everything I do in some way, whether it’s subconscious or intentional. I was around that creativity all the time, so I’m sure I learned a lot of what I have from that.”
Paris Jackson also revealed an unexpected fact about her father and apparently, the ‘King of Pop’ listened to Kanye West around the house with his little daughter as the two were singing along. Paris stated that she felt amazing when her father saw her singing properly even as a young girl.

“We listened to Kanye West around the house as well. I was always singing growing up. It was cool seeing the look on my dad’s face when he realized I could match pitch and harmonize.”
