Ozzy Osbourne’s Return To UK Will Be Displayed On His New Reality Show

As reported by Deadline, BBC has introduced the new reality television program, ‘Home to Roost,’ which will cover the story of the Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne’s recent decision to leave the US and return to the UK.

Ozzy Osbourne has been dealing with significant health problems for a while now. Ozzy suffered several injuries; the most damaging was after a fall in 2019 that left him with 15 screws in his spine. This operation resulted in nerve damage and caused Osbourne to experience mobility issues.

The icon also publicly announced in 2020 that he had Parkinson’s disease. He claimed that the condition didn’t affect his stage performances, but he still had to cancel the North American Tour due to other health struggles. The rocker underwent a life-threatening neck operation in June 2022 and went into recovery at home. He, fortunately, was back on his feet only two months later and even performed at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham alongside Tony Iommi.

Ozzy recently announced that he has decided to return to the UK. The family’s decision to move back to the UK may seem radical to some, but Osbourne mentioned in an interview that the recent mass shootings in the US and his health struggles made the decision easier for him as he wants to die in his home country.

On the other hand, the Osbournes are returning to reality TV once again with their move back to the UK. ‘The Osbournes‘ was a massive MTV hit two decades ago following the family’s move to Los Angeles. This time around, BBC, alongside the Steph Show producer, is prepping to bring back the classic as ‘Home to Roost.’

The show will follow the reality TV family’s journey to return to their roots and start fresh in rural Buckinghamshire. The show will also include Sharon and Osbourne’s 70th birthday and Kelly Osbourne’s pregnancy journey with her first child. The new show will demonstrate the family’s raw and honest journey into their new life.
