Ozzy Osbourne’s Daughter Kelly On The Milestones She Achieved After Relapse

Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, recently celebrated staying sober for a year on Instagram after relapsing a while ago and struggling with addiction once again. Osbourne noted how happy she was to have reached this milestone and thanked everyone who supported her.

Kelly had been struggling with addiction for years. She had reportedly been sober for four years before the pandemic hit. However, the quarantine paved the way for her former habits to return, and during the isolation, she relapsed. Osbourne had been trying to get back on the path to recovery ever since. It seems like she has reached the first milestone.

The singer shared her progress via Instagram, celebrating that it had been a year from the last time she gave in to her struggle with addiction. Osbourne noted how pleased she was to achieve this triumph and said if someone told her a year ago where she would be today, a sober mother, she wouldn’t believe it. Kelly then thanked everyone for their support.

Osbourne on achieving a year of sobriety and feeling grateful for being on the path to recovery:

“What a difference a year can make! If you would have told me 365 days ago that I would be sober, happy, and about to be a mum, I would have laughed in your face. Life is truly amazing when you do the work. Thank you to everyone that has supported me on this journey. I love you all so much.”

The Osbourne family has struggled with the same issue in the past as Ozzy and Kelly’s brother Jack also battled addiction problems. However, Kelly felt lucky to have reached this milestone as she celebrated her achievement and new life as a sober person and a new mother.
