Mötley Crüe Bassist Nikki Sixx Responds To A Corey Taylor Question But Fans’ Expectations Weren’t Satisfied

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx has taken his Twitter account to have a short Q&A session with his fans, during which a fan wanted to know what he thought about Corey Taylor and Joe Elliott who contributed to his song with Sixx: A.M.

As you may know, Mötley Crüe icon Nikki Sixx has struggled with drug addiction for many years and even had a a near-death experience due to the severe consumption of heroin and alcohol. However, after being a long time heroin addict, Sixx achieved to win his battle against addiction. He is even getting ready to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his sobriety later this year.

Since he managed to become sober, Nikki has been initiating various projects to show support for other people who have been struggling with substance abuse for a long time. He released a book titled ‘The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock Star’ which depicted the story of his battle with addiction. The iconic bassist also recorded a concept album called ‘The Heroin Diaries Soundtrack‘ with his band Sixx: A.M. as a musical accompaniment for the book.

Last year, Nikki and his band Sixx: A.M collaborated with the rock icons to record a new version of the song, ‘Maybe It’s Time,’ from their ‘Vol. 2, Prayers For The Blessed‘ album to support the fight against substance abuse. The single, which was released as a part of Sixx’s Artists for Recovery project, featured Joe Elliott, Slash, Brantley Gilbert, Corey Taylor, Ivan Moody, and Tommy Vext.

Recently on Twitter, during one of Nikki Sixx’s Q&A sessions with fans, a fan praised his work on the ‘Maybe It’s Time’ single and asked him to share some of his favorite memories from working with Slipknot’s Corey Taylor and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott. While the fans were looking forward to hearing some unknown stories about their time together, Sixx only responded by saying both Corey and Joe are great guys. He also stated that he would love to share some of his favorite memories of them someday, but apparently, not today.

Here’s what Sixx’s fan asked about Corey Taylor and Joe Elliott:

“I love ‘Maybe it’s Time’. Any favorite stories from working with Joe Elliott and Corey Taylor?”

Here is how Nikki Sixx responded:

Great guys and I would love to someday.”
