System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan recently expressed strong criticism regarding actress Charlize Theron’s comments about her children’s sexual orientation, and he posted on Instagram. Dolmayan is known for his outspoken conservative political views and past controversial statements on social media.

Dolmayan’s statement was a response to Theron’s previous interview, where she discussed her children’s identities.

“This woman should be in an asylum or jail,” Dolmayan said. “These children are being mentally abused, statistically impossible!”

The controversy stems from Theron’s alleged statement in a previous interview, where she said: “What drives me is this: my children are all queer. My Eldest child is non-binary. My son is gay. My youngest child is fluid.”

Dolmayan reshared a post on Instagram that highlighted Theron’s comments about being proud of her queer children. He expressed his disturbance about her statement.

The drummer’s criticism targets Theron’s well-documented support for her children’s gender identities. She has publicly defended this support for years.

The Advocate reported that Theron adopted her eldest child Jackson in 2012 and younger daughter August in 2015. In 2019, the Oscar-winning actress revealed that Jackson had identified as a girl since age three. She told reporters she would “protect” her seven-year-old trans child when pressed about the topic.

Oprah Daily noted that Theron told the Daily Mail she was honoring Jackson’s identity as a girl. She stated: “Yes, I thought she was a boy too.” The actress has consistently maintained her stance as a fierce LGBTQ+ ally throughout her public statements.

Theron’s approach to parenting has drawn both praise and criticism from various quarters. PinkNews observed that Jackson was originally introduced to the world as a boy. She is now living authentically as a girl with her mother’s full support.

The System Of A Down drummer’s latest comments align with his history of controversial social media posts. No major public responses to his remarks about Theron have surfaced yet. His criticism reflects ongoing cultural debates about parental support for transgender and gender-nonconforming children.
