Ozzy Osbourne Says Those Going To Therapy Aren’t ‘Crazy’

Black Sabbath icon Ozzy Osbourne recently gave an interview to the Mirror in which he argued that going to a therapist doesn’t make one stupid or crazy.
On February 6, 2019, Ozzy Osbourne was hospitalized after his doctor’s suggestion as he experienced flu complications. Due to that reason, he had to postpone the European leg of his ‘No More Tours 2’ tour. Later on, it turned out that Ozzy’s condition could develop into pneumonia, and he was moved to the intensive care unit.
As Ozzy was recovering from the illness and preparing to get back on the stage again, he sustained severe injuries from a fall in his LA home. So, he canceled the tour and the dates scheduled for 2019. The musician’s health problems didn’t leave him in peace, and he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2019.
Osbourne updated the fans about his health status publicly in January 2020. Later on, he canceled his 2020 North American tour as his health condition had affected his mobility. As a result of his health issues and the global pandemic, which has affected almost everyone’s mental health, it seems Ozzy found it was best to go to therapy.
In an interview with the Mirror, Ozzy Osbourne said that he has had a therapist over the past three years. He then recalled that when he lived in England as a young boy, everyone would presume that someone who goes to a therapist is crazy. The Prince Of Darkness stressed that nobody is stupid for going to a therapist, but it’s silly not to go to one if one needs them.
In the interview with the Mirror, Ozzy Osbourne said the following:
“Over the past three years, I have got a therapist. When I was a kid in England, you would not go to a therapist because they’d think you were f*cking crazy. It is OK. You ain’t stupid for going to a f*cking therapist, but you are stupid not to go if you need them.”
During the lockdown, Osbourne focused on making artwork to deal with these difficult times. He also released his NFT Projects’ Cryptobatz‘ and ‘Mutantbatz.‘ As of now, the musician is trying to recover from his health issues to get back on the stage as soon as possible.
