Ozzy Osbourne shared his thoughts on Miley Cyrus’ performance at the 2024 Grammy Awards during a recent episode of the Osbournes Podcast.
Ozzy initiated the conversation by complimenting Miley’s Grammy presence, stating:
“Talking of Miley, she was… I thought she looked good on the Grammy’s last night.”
His daughter Kelly chimed in, emphasizing Cyrus’ physical appearance:
“Her body looked just like… She looked so hot.”
Praise From The Osbournes
Sharon Osbourne added her admiration for Cyrus’ performance:
“Let me tell you something. She did the best live performance of the evening. She’s got an edge. She’s sexy. She’s got it all going on, and I think that she really stole it for me.”
Ozzy stepped in and said:
“I watched her. She did good.”
Miley’s Memorable Moments
Sharon continued to praise Miley, mentioning her impactful acceptance speech for ‘Song of the Year,’ noting:
“She was phenomenal. She was sassy. She was just really good. She goes at the end when her song ‘Flowers’ won song of the year; she was saying she hoped there weren’t people that she forgot to thank. She says, ‘But one thing I did forget was my underwear’ [laughs]. She looked great.”
Ozzy, intrigued by Cyrus’ involvement in her work, asked if she had written the song, to which Sharon confirmed, leading Ozzy to commend Cyrus:
“That’s great. That’s really good. Well done.”
A Night To Remember For Cyrus
Miley stood out at the 2024 Grammy Awards, winning her first two Grammys for Best Pop Vocal Performance and Record of the Year with ‘Flowers.’ She impressed everyone with her talent and humor, playfully calling out the audience for not singing along and changing her song’s lyrics to celebrate her win. She addressed the audience, saying:
“Why are you acting like you don’t know this song?”
Cyrus faced tough competition but emerged victorious, securing awards over prominent artists like Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift. In her acceptance speech for Record of the Year, Cyrus reflected on the value of recognition, saying:
“This award is amazing. But I really hope that it doesn’t change anything because my life was beautiful yesterday. Not everyone in the world will get a Grammy, but everyone in this world is spectacular. So please don’t think that this is important, even though it’s very important, right guys?”
This year, Miley received six Grammy nominations, including one for album of the year with ‘Endless Summer Vacation.’ She had earlier been nominated for best pop vocal for her 2013 ‘Bangerz’ album and featured on Lil Nas X’s ‘Montero’ in 2021, which was also up for album of the year.
