Nuno Bettencourt Expresses Remorse About Slamming Slash And Richard Fortus

Nuno Bettencourt expressed regret over his public criticisms of Slash and Richard Fortus. His initial comments, were perceived as overly harsh and dismissive. Bettencourt later acknowledged that his remarks were inappropriate and reflected a moment of poor judgment. Now, in a new interview with Classic Rock, Nuno reflected on this brief feud, repeating his desire to leave it all in the past by getting together with Fortus and have a beer. He stated:

“I’m a passionate guy, I’ve had to learn to take a deep breath, step back, re-read it. I didn’t do that. It wasn’t actually about Slash himself, but I didn’t put it across the right way. I put up a video the next day, saying that I owe everyone an apology, that I was immature. Richard was just protecting his boy. I owe him an apology. I’d like to sit down with him and have a beer.”

This Is Not The First Time Nuno Has Offered Richard For A Beer

Nuno Bettencourt has been wanting to have a beer with Richard Fortus to talk about these events for a while now. After his harsh comments, Nuno offered Richard to have a beer with him for the first time in a 4-minute apology video posted on Instagram on July 27th. Richard. He said:

“Richard sorry brother. This is ridiculous, you had a complete right to defend your bro, even if it was in the lightest way or whatever it was; you are correct. Honestly, man, it’s ridiculous. Let’s stop this bullshit. I hope to have a beer with Richard sometime soon and just have a laugh about it because this is just stupid. It’s just ridiculous.”

And Richard made the fans happy by commenting on the post. He stated:

“Contacting you directly to make arrangements for that beer.”
