Nita Strauss guested on the latest episode of Beyond the Boys Club podcast and shared her thoughts on working with both Alice Cooper and Demi Lovato. The rocker shared her experience with working with two separate musicians and revealed that the two are actually ‘not different’ to work with.
Why Strauss Thinks The Two Parties Are Not Different

The guitarist has worked with Alice Cooper for eight years, after which she decided to join Demi Lovato for her shows. Lovato also worked with Slash and Bert McCracken to make an addition to her new album where her old pop hits were reimagined. After almost a year of touring with Lovato, Strauss returned to the Alice Cooper band.
In the recent interview, the rocker discussed the differences in working between the two parties. When asked if working with Demi Lovato was any different than working with Alice Cooper, she touched on Lovato’s current works and said:
“To be honest, it wasn’t all that different. I think maybe if I had joined Demi in different ways of her career, it would have been a much more different experience.”
Lovato’s New Phase

Although the singer recorded and released pop songs throughout her career, it’s evident that she is a rocker as well. Lovato does not only show her rocker side with her new album, but during her early years, she also named death metal and metalcore bands as her favorite rock and metal artists. Strauss touched on the singer’s latest album and continued:
“But Demi’s new record is quite heavy; she’s going into a more of a rock phase of her career. She’s a rocker, metalhead at heart. So we really did a straightforward rock show. Even her older pop hits were reimagined into rock versions.”
The guitarist also contributed to Lovato’s reimagined tracks and featured in ‘La La Land’ from the singer’s debut album. The album dropped on September 15.
The difference between working with two different musicians must not be so different since Lovato and Cooper even wrote a song together. The two worked together on Nita’s latest album, ‘The Call Of The Void,’ and according to the guitarist, both Lovato and Cooper had said that it went well and they loved working with each other.
