In a new interview, Nita Strauss talked about her commitment to Alice Cooper and preserving the band’s legacy. During the interview with Made In Metal to discuss her recent album ‘The Call Of The Void,’ the rocker was asked about the difference between playing with Demi Lovato and Alice Cooper.
“I think, of course, the fans are quite different. There’s the age of the fans, of course, is a little different. Demi’s fans are younger, Alice Cooper fans really are across all generations.”
Strauss left Lovato to rejoin Alice Cooper, but not as a result of bad blood. Instead, she committed to both artists to give the fans the best shows while now preserving Cooper’s legacy. She continued:
“The one thing that’s the same, though with the fans, whether it’s Demi or Alice, is the fans have that love for the artist that deep connection with the artist. So even though the fans are of different generations and different genres of music and different styles, they share that passion and love for the artist, which was amazing for both.”
The guitarist departed from playing for Demi Lovato and rejoined Alice Cooper in March this year, and also took place in the band’s 2023 shows. A few weeks ago, the rocker fell ill and, as a result, couldn’t make it to a few shows. Now, she seems to be better and continues touring with the rest of the band.
In her new album, Strauss included many special names, such as Alissa White-Gluz, Chris Motionless, David Draiman, Lilith Czar, and of course, Alice Cooper.
