Nikki Sixx Says He Might Need To Sabotage Def Leppard’s Live Show Soon

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently shared a post to draw attention to Def Leppard members’ performances in their co-headlining tour on his official Twitter account. The musician stated that he should unplug some gears that belong to the band by revealing the reason behind it.

Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe’s long-awaited The Stadium Tour finally began on June 16, 2022, in Cumberland, after the bands had to postpone the dates twice because of the COVID-19 outbreak and its restrictions. They planned to conclude on September 9, 2022, in Las Vegas, but the two famous groups can also decide to continue if they agree. The guest acts of the tour are Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, along with the opening band, Classless Act.

The co-headliners and their guests delighted the longtime fans that thought it was worth waiting for two years to watch them live. Especially Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee who didn’t give up and wanted to play despite breaking four ribs two weeks before the tour started, received very kind comments and positive reviews from the fans and audiences. Ozzy Osbourne drummer Tommy Clufetos appeared during shows to play in Lee’s absence.

In addition, Sixx wanted to express his ideas about Def Leppard’s live shows, saying that they were fantastic every night that they played so far without any problem or mistake. Thus, the bassist joked about it and admitted that he would have to sabotage them by unplugging their guitar cabinets to stop their performances out of jealousy. Apparently, Sixx loves collaborating with such a talented band as Def Leppard, aside from his humorous plans.

Sixx’s tweet read:

Gonna need to sabotage Def Leppard if they keep sounding so good every night. Maybe unplug some guitar cabinets?”
