Nikki Sixx Says He Had Some Of The Best Days Of His Life Before Ending His Radio Show

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx posted a picture of himself with Spraygun War member Stevie D. on Instagram which was taken during his radio show ‘Sixx Sense,’ and mentioned how he had the best time of his life prior to his decision to end the show.

As you might recall, the iconic guitarist of Mötley Crüe, Nikki Sixx had been hosting a rock radio show named ‘Sixx Sense’ on iHeart Radio. Nikki hosted the show between the years 2008 and 2017. He announced that he was ending his shows at the end of 2017 so that he could focus on other projects. Nikki’s final broadcast was aired on December 31, 2017.

Recently on Instagram, Nikki Sixx reposted his picture with Spraygun War member Stevie D. which was initially shared by Sully Guitars to recall the time Stevie D. joined the Sixx Sense episode of My Favorite Riff. In the caption of his post, Sixx looked back to his eight-year-long journey as a radio host during which he discovered and support new bands.

Nikki also mentioned that he has the opportunity to welcome many ‘cool guests’ on the My Favorite Riff episodes of his radio show. While reminiscing on his experience in radio, Mötley Crüe icon admitted that he actually had some of the best days of his life since there was always a new adventure every day.
