Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx recently held a Q&A session with fans on Twitter and responded to a fan who questioned Tommy Lee’s wild behavior during the Stadium Tour.
Fans had been waiting for years for the co-headlining North American tour by Mötley Crüe & Def Leppard. Although they were concerned about whether the tour would kick off since it had been rescheduled twice, the Stadium Tour began on June 16, 2022, in Cumberland and will continue through September 9, 2022.
The Stadium Tour is Mötley Crüe’s most significant tour in seven years. So, it’s no surprise the band members have been as excited as the fans. However, Tommy Lee took this to another level and shared a highly controversial picture on his social media accounts during a two-week break after a ‘bender’: a full-frontal nude.
On August 11, Tommy Lee took to his Instagram and Twitter to share a rather intimate photo. It took five hours for Instagram to remove it, but the nude is still on Lee’s Twitter account. While this act didn’t surprise many Crüe fans, the drummer felt the need to reveal his reasons during the show on August 21. Moreover, he even asked the crowd to pull their pants off and show off their penises.
Recently, Nikki Sixx held one of his AskSixx sessions on Twitter and asked his fans to share their thoughts about the tour. One of Sixx’s fans told the bassist that Tommy Lee has been pretty wild during the Stadium tour, which sometimes surprises them. Upon seeing this, Sixx stated that Lee has always been wild, and he will always be.
One of his fans asked Nikki Sixx the following in a tweet:
“Tommy is pretty wild on this tour, right? Sometimes I am surprised.”
Sixx then responded:
“He’s always been. Always will be.”
