Nikki Sixx Addresses Mötley Crüe’s Farewell Plans

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx recently responded to some fans’ queries about whether the band is considering doing a farewell tour soon while answering questions on Twitter.

Previously, Mötley Crüe had announced they would hit the road with Def Leppard for a co-headlining North America tour. Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Poison would also join them as special guests. This tour had a special place for Mötley Crüe as it was the first one after seven years.

The fans had concerns about whether the tour would happen because of the ongoing pandemic. Unfortunately, it was postponed twice due to the restrictions and was eventually scheduled for 2022. Although the fans’ worries continued, Nikki Sixx relieved them by hinting at the setlist.

Ultimately, things went as planned this time, and the highly anticipated Stadium Tour began on June 16, 2022, in Cumberland. The tour continues with all its excitement and energetic shows, including Tommy Lee’s ‘wild’ acts. As he shared in the previous days, he is also grateful for the number of attendances for the tour.

While Nikki Sixx was answering his fans’ questions on Twitter, some expressed their curiosity about whether this was their last tour. He revealed that they have no intention of stopping now, responding to one of them. The bassist furthermore stated that they would continue touring throughout the year when asked whether they considered doing another tour after the current one.

Nikki Sixx said the following when asked if the current tour was like a farewell one:

“We’re in it now. Why stop?

Sixx responded when asked whether they would continue touring after The Stadium Tour:

“The tour will go all night year around the world. The home was a nightlight for us.”
