Mötley Crüe’s Nikki Sixx Works On His ‘Dream Project’

Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx responded to the questions of his fans under the hashtag of ‘AskSixx’ on his official Twitter account. Sixx revealed that he has focused on his dream project as some of his recent musical and side projects came to an end.

Nikki Sixx is a very productive artist who has been pursuing a remarkable musical and writing career simultaneously. He has recently announced the title and the release date of his upcoming fourth book, ‘The First 21: How I Became Nikki Sixx,’ which is based on Sixx’s journey of becoming a rock star and will be released on October 10, 2021.

Moreover, he previously announced that his side project Sixx:A.M. recorded new songs and will release their greatest hits in their new album. Sixx also shared his most recent project with his fans on his Twitter account by stating that he founded his first direct-to-fan merch line named ‘Sixx on Sixx.’ The fans can now purchase Nikki Sixx-themed unique and collectible items.

In his recent tweet, Nikki revealed that he just started working on his dream project when a fan asked about whether he will return to podcasts or not. Sixx also mentioned that his dream project, which he has been planning for a long time, will have to wait for the end of the book promotions and Mötley Crüe’s Stadium Tour which was rescheduled to 2022. He then stated that he will be completely focused on this new project, however, he didn’t share any further details about it.

Here’s what a fan asked:

“Any chance of going back to the radio or doing a podcast? I was devastated when you went off the air. All your art is raw real and moving, but your voice takes me to the top.”

Sixx responded:

I have a new project we are just getting started on. It’s been a dream for a long time so it’s gonna have all my focus. Between the promo for the book, new SixxAM, and a 2-year-old plus the Stadium tour it’s gonna have to wait.”
