Maynard James Keenan expressed his concerns about Ozzy Osbourne’s final show in an interview with Loudwire Nights.

“I’m cautious about saying, ‘Yeah! All in, he’s [Ozzy Osbourne] gonna do it,'” Keenan said. “I don’t know what kind of modern miracles we’ll come up with to get him on stage to do the songs, but this is gonna be a challenge for them.”

“I’m honored to be a part of it, but I’m kinda preparing for the worst — but hoping for the best, as they say,” he continued.

Lzzy Hale recently made a statement about Osbourne’s uncertain performance status. She said, “So, according to Tom Morello, that is in the works, but we’re going to have to wait. He said, ‘You’re going to have to be patient with the confirmation for that.’ Because of Ozzy’s health and everything, we’re going to have to see pretty much on the day whether Ozzy’s to be singing or how much Ozzy’s going to be singing and willing to do.”

Both artists’ concerns stem from Osbourne’s ongoing health challenges. These issues have significantly impacted his ability to perform in recent years.

Hello Magazine reported that Osbourne’s Parkinson’s disease has advanced. The condition now affects his mobility and prevents him from walking independently.

The Los Angeles Times confirmed the Prince of Darkness will perform a historic final show. The performance will reunite the original Black Sabbath lineup in Birmingham, UK, in July 2025.

iHeart noted Osbourne’s determination to deliver this farewell performance. His medical team monitors his condition closely to ensure his well-being during the planned show.

Osbourne’s determination and current health status have created a complex situation. This has led fellow artists like Keenan and Hale to voice their concerns while maintaining hope for the metal legend’s final bow.
