Marilyn Manson Faces Jail Time Due To A Spitting Incident, His Lawyer Dismisses The Claims
According to the reports of the Gilford Police Department, Marilyn Manson had an active arrest warrant for intentionally spitting on a camerawoman during one of his concerts which was criticized by Manson’s lawyer, Howard King as something ‘ludicrous.’
As you may know, Marilyn Manson has faced several accusations about violence and abuse against women. Different actresses started to speak up for Manson’s physical, psychological, and sexual abuse of themselves. Initially, Westworld star, Evan Rachel Wood revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Marilyn Manson sexually and physically abused her throughout their relationship. She stated that Manson locked her in a room for days and forced her not to speak or see anyone except himself.
Following Wood’s claims, model Ashley Morgan Smithline also accused Manson of physically and sexually abusing her during their two years of relationship. She was also locked in a room without any food or water and her hands were tied for days. He tried to rape her and broke her nose while she was struggling. Recently, another accusation were made about Manson, which was followed by an arrest warrant. Three attendees spoke with People about what happened at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion concert of Manson.
According to their statements, Manson spat on a camerawoman’s camera many times. After he saw her disgust, he intentionally continued to spit on her camera. The woman was very irritated and angry and this made him laugh more. Manson’s lawyer, Howard King answered that they were overreacting and it was a regular show of Manson. The woman wanted $35,000 from them because of a small accident. King also added that he could only get a jail sentence of up to one year and a $2,000 fine because of what he did.
Here’s what the attorney said:
“It is no secret to anyone who has attended a Marilyn Manson concert that he likes to be provocative on stage, especially in front of a camera. This misdemeanor claim was pursued after we received a demand from a venue videographer for more than $35,000 after a small amount of spit came into contact with their arm. After we asked for evidence of any alleged damages, we never received a reply.
This whole claim is ludicrous, but we remain committed to cooperating with authorities, as we have done throughout”
Here’s what an attendee said:
“He was spitting everywhere and one time it got on her camera so she wiped it off and looked semi-irritated. He noticed this and kept purposely spitting on her camera. I think her final straw is he got on the floor, got within 2-3 feet of her, and hacked a giant snot rocket at her not the camera. She was pissed off and disgusted so she stormed off and he just laughed.“
