Lzzy Hale, the Halestorm frontwoman, discussed Ozzy Osbourne’s upcoming final show in an interview with Audacy Music.

“So, according to Tom Morello, that is in the works, but we’re going to have to wait,” Hale said about the possibility of performing ‘Close Your Eyes Forever’ with Ozzy. “He said, ‘You’re going to have to be patient with the confirmation for that.'”

“Because of Ozzy’s health and everything, we’re going to have to see pretty much on the day whether Ozzy’s to be singing or how much Ozzy’s going to be singing and willing to do,” she explained.

Hale outlined her role in the July 5th show: “But Halestorm is doing a set. We’re also doing a Black Sabbath cover. And I’ve been asked to sing in the supergroup with Tom Morello and everybody there.”

The show’s format and execution remain uncertain due to questions about Ozzy’s performance capacity.

Consequence revealed that the event, ‘Back to the Beginning,’ will feature a limited Black Sabbath reunion. Ozzy will join the band for select portions during their first performance in 20 years.

Ozzy.com confirmed an impressive lineup for the concert. Legendary acts Metallica and Pantera will share the stage with Halestorm.

The event organizers have committed to a charitable cause. All profits will support three organizations: Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.

This historic farewell performance celebrates Ozzy’s career legacy. It unites multiple generations of rock musicians for a momentous tribute to his influence on heavy metal.
