Lorna Shore vocalist Will Ramos has expressed his desire to collaborate with Sleep Token. He made his intentions clear in a recent interview with Loudwire.

Ramos didn’t hesitate to name his dream collaboration partner when asked about which band he would most like to work with.

“This goes without saying,” Ramos said. “Everybody that knows me probably already knows this, but I would love to work with the band Sleep Token. I love their vocals, I love their music in general. It’s absolutely incredible.”

The vocalist emphasized his approach to collaborations. He focuses on authenticity over industry politics.

“When I collaborate with other artists, I want it to be from an authentic place, something that I want to do, something that resonates with me,” he continued. “It’s not just, ‘Oh, I’m doing it for, because it’s a clout thing.’ It’s like, this is fun. This is going to be a good song. Let’s run it one day.”

Ramos concluded his statement with a direct message to the mysterious British band.

“Sleep Token, if you hear me out there, I’m coming for you,” he said. “Hit me up, I’m ready to go, baby.”

This collaboration request comes at a significant time in Ramos’ career. He has established himself as one of the most prominent voices in modern deathcore.

Wikipedia reported that Ramos’ rise in the metal scene has been rapid since joining Lorna Shore in 2020. He initially served as a touring fill-in before becoming the permanent vocalist in 2021. His arrival marked a turning point for the band. The group had been searching for stability following previous lineup changes.

The vocalist’s impact became immediately apparent with Lorna Shore’s breakthrough success. The Metal Verse noted that his work helped propel the band into the mainstream with their viral hit “To the Hellfire.” The track was noted for its extreme vocal range and intensity. It was widely praised and named 2021 Song of the Year by Loudwire. The track showcased Ramos’ ability to seamlessly blend brutal death growls with soaring clean vocals.

Lorna Shore’s evolution under Ramos’ leadership has been remarkable. Wikipedia documented that the band’s latest album “Pain Remains” was released in 2022. It featured Ramos’ vocal and lyrical contributions. The album has solidified their reputation for blending deathcore with symphonic and blackened elements. This musical sophistication has set high expectations for any collaborative projects Ramos may undertake.

The potential collaboration with Sleep Token would represent a fascinating merger of two distinct yet complementary musical approaches. It would combine Ramos’ extreme vocal techniques with Sleep Token’s atmospheric and mysterious sound.
