In the midst of the Oasis brother’s back and forth over whether the band would ever reunite, from Liam Gallagher’s recent interview with BBC Radio 2’s Jo Whiley, it seems that unless Noel calls him, there won’t be a reunion in the cards for Oasis. The singer explained:

“The way I see it, it isn’t happening. I won’t be calling him, and he’ll be calling me. He split the band up on his terms, and I’ll be getting it back together on my terms. I’m a reasonable person, but I’m very good friends with the universe, and we have ways of making it happen because it’ll come down to him calling me.”

The Oasis reunion has been an ongoing discussion via interviews between the brothers however Liam shared that this time Noel wants the reunion to promote his new album ‘Council Skies’ by adding:

“Our kid has been called many times about getting the band back together; it just so happens that this time he wants it when he’s got an album out.”

This isn’t the first time the brothers have voiced that they are expecting phone calls from one another nor is it the only time Liam has claimed that Noel brought up his name to put the blame on him and talk about a possible reunion to promote his new album.
