Liam Gallagher Reacts To Oasis’ Rock Hall Nomination: ‘F—k The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame’

Liam Gallagher has expressed his dissatisfaction over Oasis being nominated for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The rocker responded to the news that the band is on the shortlist for potential induction in 2024, strongly implying that he is not keen on receiving such an honor.

The rocker took on X to share his thoughts on the Hall Of Fame:

“F*ck the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is full of BUMBACLARTS.”

When an Oasis fan page pointed out that the band was losing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination, and also expressed indifference to Gallagher’s opinion on the matter, Gallagher responded:

“Don’t waste your time kid as much as it’s appreciated it’s all a load of bollox.”

In a different comment, a fan asked whether any other members of Oasis would attend the ceremony if the band emerged victorious and received the award, to which he responded while referring to his brother:

“The little fella loves hanging out with celebrities so he’d probably go. As for me I’m washing my hair and having a pedicure and a manicure.”

Oasis’ Hall Of Fame Nomination

The 51-year-old English singer-songwriter had a noteworthy 18-year tenure performing with the band before the group of five members disbanded in 2009 amidst a contentious feud between Liam and his older brother Noel Gallagher—a dispute that remains unresolved.

On February 10th, the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ group found itself among the nominees shortlisted for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s class of 2024.

While some artists who initially expressed reservations about their nominations have eventually embraced the idea of induction, as seen with Dolly Parton, Liam Gallagher’s evident hostility may potentially have a dampening effect on voting among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame’s 1,000-plus electors.

Noel Gallagher has not yet shared his own response or confirmed whether he would attend the ceremony, despite Liam’s assertions. Unlike his brother, Noel tends to keep a more low-key presence on social media, maintaining a more amiable account managed by his label.
