Liam Gallagher plans a month-long spiritual retreat before the Oasis reunion tour.
“Liam, what plans do you have until Oasis rehearsals start? to which you will only go to laugh at others,” a fan asked the singer on X. Liam replied, “I’m gonna go Mongolia for a month to practice my spiritual renaissance then get stuck into rehearsals.”
Oasis is reuniting next year for the first time since 2009. Fans didn’t expect this due to the famous rivalry between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, which led to onstage fights in the past.
Oasis will kick off their Live ’25 Tour in July next year, with shows in the U.K., North America, Asia, Australia, and South America. Last month, Liam responded to a fan’s worry about whether they would be as good as before.
“Got asked a ridiculous question yesterday so are OASIS gonna be as good as you once were because when some bands get back together there not as good,” Gallagher said before revealing his answer. “I said listen here you CUNT even on our bad day we’ll still wipe the floor with majority of bands out there BUMBACLART LG x.”
Despite the excitement for their reunion, Oasis’ tour has also faced criticism because of dynamic pricing. U.K. fans were upset, so when the U.S. tour dates were announced, Oasis said they wouldn’t use this pricing for North America.
The band said in a statement, “It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket touting and keep prices for a significant proportion of fans lower than the market rate and thus more affordable.”
“But, when unprecedented ticket demand (where the entire tour could be sold many times over at the moment tickets go on sale) is combined with technology that cannot cope with that demand, it becomes less effective and can lead to an unacceptable experience for fans,” they added.
Gallagher previously teased new music on X but didn’t confirm a new Oasis album, as reported by NME. He mentioned the album was ‘finished’ but later said he was joking, according to Rolling Stone.
