Polyphia have announced their new album. The band also shared that upcoming shows will be pushed back, according to a post shared on Polyphia’s Instagram.
The band revealed that their new album, “Be Not Afraid,” will be released on October 23. They also shared a new single, “Power In The Blood,” which is out now. Preorders for the album are currently available on Polyphia’s website.
“‘Be Not Afraid’ 10/23,” the announcement read. “New song ‘Power In The Blood’ out now. Preorders available now at Polyphia website.”
Polyphia went on to explain the reasoning behind postponing their North American tour dates, noting the effort put into the new record.
“We poured everything we had into making this album exactly what we wanted it to be,” the band said. “In order to see that vision all the way through, our North American shows will now take place in February/March 2027. We know a lot of you already made plans to come see us, and we don’t take that lightly. Thank you for being patient with us and sticking with us. We genuinely can’t wait for you to hear this record and experience it with us.”
The band also addressed ticket holders and fans in the UK and EU, clarifying that those dates remain unaffected.
“All previously purchased tickets remain valid for the new dates,” the statement continued. “If you have any questions, please refer to the information in your email. UK/EU dates remain unchanged. Tickets on sale Friday at 9am EST.”
“Be Not Afraid” marks Polyphia’s fifth full-length studio album. It arrives on the heels of a rollout that’s been building for months.
The band first previewed the record back in June with lead single “Can You Feel It?” This gave fans an early glimpse of the direction the album would take before “Power In The Blood” followed as its second single.
The visual companion to “Power In The Blood” underscores just how much care went into this era of the band’s output. The music video was filmed in Rio de Janeiro inside the São Francisco da Penitência Church, with its gilded, Baroque-style interior serving as a striking backdrop for the performance. It was directed by Caleb Young.
The rescheduled North American run has since taken shape as a 28-date tour. It kicks off in Phoenix on February 5, 2027, and wraps up in Dallas on March 20, 2027.
