In a recent Instagram post, Korn’s Brian Welch addressed Billie Eilish’s negative views on adult films.

Eilish had said the following about her thoughts on adult movies in an appearance on the Howard Stern Show in 2021:

“I think porn is a disgrace. I used to be like the person that would like to talk about porn all the time. I’d be like, ‘So stupid that anybody would think that porn is bad or f*cked up. I think it is so cool, and it’s great.’ I was an advocate, and I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was like 11.”

Eilish’s Further Remarks On Those Films

She continued, explaining the negative impact of those movies on her:

“I didn’t understand why it was a bad thing. I thought that’s how you learned how to have sex. I think it really destroyed my brain. I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn. I think that I had sleep paralysis, and these were almost like night terrors, slash just nightmares because of it. I think that’s how they started because I would just watch abusive BDSM, and that’s what I thought was attractive.”

The singer lastly added, reflecting on her first experiences of having sex:

“It got to a point where I couldn’t watch anything else unless it was violent. I didn’t think it was attractive, and I was a virgin. I had never done anything. It led to problems. The first few times I had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good, and it’s because I thought that that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to. It’s how so many people think that they’re supposed to learn. It’s how so many men think that they’re supposed to be. I’m so angry that porn is so loved.”

Welch’s Reaction To Billie’s Words

Welch shared this video of Eilish and wrote the following about it, agreeing with what Billie said:

“No judgment if you’re into porn, but I definitely can relate to Billie Eilish – lots of dark energy around that industry, in my experience.”

Eilish’s comments led to various reactions from fans and adult film stars. Maitland Ward, a former TV actress turned porn actor, spoke to TMZ, questioning the singer’s parental supervision at 11. She argued that Eilish should hold her parents responsible, not porn, as it’s meant for adult entertainment, not sex education. Ward believes Eilish is too young to judge porn’s impact.
