Tracii Guns Defends Ted Nugent, ‘I Don’t Care What Anybody Says’

Recently Ted Nugent recently appeared on stage in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, as part of his ‘Adios Mofo’ 23′ farewell tour. L.A. Guns’ guitarist Tracii Guns shared his opinion about Nugent’s performance on Twitter. He wrote:

“I don’t care what anybody says. I just watched this, and Ted Nugent hasn’t lost a step as a guitarist or frontman. Sorry. It’s the truth.”

Nugent had spoken about his farewell tour with THAT Rocks, where he shared his reasons behind the decision to say goodbye to his days on the road. Ted said:

“Hotels are jail. I hate jail… I will always play music. The music still has fire. I still crave it. I’ve got new songs. I’m gonna go in the studio with these killer musicians that are always at my side. But traveling, I tell you… A hotel room is a jail… The travel and the hotels…”

Besides not wanting to stay in hotels, Nugent had announced the ‘Adios Mofo ’23 Tour’ this past April on The Nightly Nuge, where he discussed his desire to spend more time at home with his family and dogs. He added:

“The musical dream will continue, but I’m not going on tour anymore… My dogs won’t allow me to not spend the day with them, so Happy, Sadie, and Coco will go on the road with me this year, but the logistics are too complicated when you have dogs and grandkids and kids.”

Ted’s tour has started, and there are dates available until the end of August as of now. You can learn more about the tour and get information about tickets here.
