John 5 has sparked concern among fans with a recent social media post showing him receiving hydration therapy. This comes shortly after Nikki Sixx revealed health issues within Mötley Crüe. The guitarist shared the video on his Instagram account.

The post featured John 5 undergoing medical treatment while maintaining a lighthearted tone in his caption.

“Me and Rita love to get our hydration therapy from Elevate Health Group,” John 5 wrote. “I found the perfect way to pass the time. I hope everyone’s having a great Sunday. Remember, stay weird.”

This development follows Nikki Sixx’s recent statement about the band’s absence from Ozzy Osbourne’s final ‘Back to the Beginning’ concert last week.

“We have been having health issues within the band,” Sixx had previously stated.

Speculation has emerged that Vince Neil may be the band member experiencing health problems. The timing of John 5’s hydration therapy post has raised questions about whether multiple members of Mötley Crüe are dealing with health concerns.

The health concerns within Mötley Crüe have had a significant impact on the band’s recent schedule and commitments. This extends beyond their absence from Ozzy’s farewell show.

American Songwriter reported that Mötley Crüe postponed their Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled for March 2025, to allow frontman Vince Neil time to recover from an undisclosed medical procedure. The band prioritized Neil’s health in their official statements. The residency has now been rescheduled to begin in September 2025 at Park MGM’s Dolby Live.

The band’s health struggles have forced them to cancel multiple appearances this year. Ultimate Classic Rock noted that Mötley Crüe also had to withdraw from their headlining slot at the Boardwalk Rock festival. This further underscores the ongoing medical issues affecting the group’s ability to perform.

Despite the disappointment of missing Ozzy’s farewell show, Sixx expressed gratitude for their long history with the Prince of Darkness. Louder Sound revealed that Sixx acknowledged Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne for giving Mötley Crüe their breakthrough opportunity on the 1984 ‘Shout at the Devil’ tour. He called Ozzy’s farewell show “a bad-ass send off” despite the band’s absence.

The pattern of health-related cancellations has raised concerns among fans about the long-term implications for the veteran rock band. Rise Celestial Studios highlighted that the band’s commitment to prioritizing member health over performance obligations reflects the reality of aging rock stars managing their physical well-being while maintaining their careers.
