Dave Navarro has signaled that Jane’s Addiction will continue without Perry Farrell. He shared updates about new recording sessions with Eric Avery and Stephen Perkins on Instagram.
The guitarist’s social media post revealed that the band is actively working on new material with the remaining original members during ongoing legal proceedings involving Farrell.
“Back at it with Eric Avery, Stephen Perkins, and [producer] Robert Adam Stevenson,” Navarro wrote in the caption of his post.
This development comes as the band members navigate continued legal disputes with Perry Farrell. It suggests the group intends to move forward with their remaining lineup.
The decision to continue without Farrell follows a turbulent period that saw the band’s reunion tour come to an abrupt end in 2024.

Kerrang revealed that fans speculate the project might extend Jane’s Addiction’s legacy or possibly connect to the ’90s side project Deconstruction, which featured Avery and Navarro sharing vocal duties.
