After releasing a surprise album last year, Jack White might have some other plans.

White’s recent Instagram post has sparked some curiosity among fans. The rocker shared a blue material that some commenters referred to as ‘blue blood cells’ and ‘Stingray leather dyed blue.’ The singer didn’t have any caption in the post, so naturally, fans thought it was a teaser for new music.

A user asked, “New album??” Another added, “I don’t know what you’re up to, but I’m here for it.” Another user commented, “‘No Name II,'” referring to last year’s surprise album.

Before releasing his surprise album ‘No Name,’ White hadn’t made any announcements. However, the album was being given away for free with any purchase at the store on July 19 at his Third Man Records stores in Nashville, Detroit, and London. The vinyl label only said ‘No Name,’ and came in a plain sleeve in White’s iconic blue color.

While the fans weren’t told that the nameless album belonged to White, they quickly figured it was him and even shared it online. The album didn’t get digitally released until August 2.

In other news, The White Stripes has recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of ‘Get Behind Me Satan.’ They have announced a reissue of the album. It features songwriting demos, alternate studio takes, and live versions of the tracks found on the original album.
