The White Stripes’ Jack White is selling some of his items in an online auction. The auction, named ‘Third Man Garage Sale,’ is hosted by Third Man Records, which White launched in 2001. The online auction started on Tuesday, July 25, and will run until 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 30.
The sale caught people’s attention with its both rare and mysterious items. The sale includes an autopsy table and Meg White’s culinary school ice cream-making machine.
Jack White shared the ‘strange’ items on Instagram with the description:
“Posting here a few of the more, shall we say…stranger…items for sale at the Third Man Garage Sale. From a possibly radioactive autopsy table to Meg White’s culinary school ice cream making machine, the descriptive paragraphs written by TMR’s own Benjamin Blackwell are short and hilariously entertaining true stories for your perusal. Link to the auction in bio. Not much time left! Bid today and add to your world of strange curiosities!”
The items also include Jack White’s finger casts, which were the casts from the band’s ‘The Hardest Button To Button’ music video. Other notable items include the drum set used in the same music video, various drum pieces, items from several music videos, two guitars owned by White, and many others.
According to the sale website, a portion of the profits will go towards the improvement of Clark Park, located in southwest Detroit.
