The legendary rock band Triumph has officially announced their return to touring after three decades. The announcement was shared on Triumph’s official Facebook page.

The band members emphasized that this is a genuine Triumph tour, not a tribute act. They are committed to delivering a world-class show with the help of special guests.

“THE ROCK & ROLL MACHINE IS RELOADED! We are so excited to finally share with you all that Triumph is going back on tour in 2026,” the band announced.

The members clarified their intentions and revealed the lineup of supporting musicians who will join them on stage.

“We want to clear up something that popped up during today’s tour announcement: this is NOT a tribute band tour. This is a Triumph tour. We’re putting in the work to bring our show and our songs back to you, the fans. And to help us deliver a truly world-class show, we’ll be joined on-stage by a few friends – Todd Kerns and Brent Fitz from Slash’s band, and Phil X on loan from the mighty Bon Jovi. Big things ahead. We can’t wait to share it with you. See you on the road! Gil, Rik, and Mike.”

This reunion marks a historic moment for the Canadian hard rock trio. The band has been away from the touring circuit for three decades. The announcement comes as part of a larger celebration of the band’s legacy.

Blabbermouth reported that the tour has been officially titled the “Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour,” celebrating five decades of the band’s influential hard rock legacy. The North American tour is produced by Live Nation and will feature special guest April Wine, adding another classic rock act to the bill.

The tour kicks off in Canada with performances beginning April 22, 2026, in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Major Canadian cities including Toronto and Hamilton will follow. Eddie Trunk’s official website noted that the tour will then move into the United States, running through June 6, 2026. The schedule includes stops in major markets including Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York, and Boston.

Tickets for the “Triumph 50th Anniversary Tour” went on sale on December 12, 2025, at 10 AM. Metal Planet Music detailed the extensive North American schedule, which spans from April 22 through June 6, 2026, with over 14 confirmed dates across Canada and the United States. The tour represents a major reunion for the classic rock trio, often referred to as “The Rock & Roll Machine,” and demonstrates the enduring appeal of their music to both longtime fans and new audiences.

The original members—Gil Moore, Rik Emmett, and Mike Levine—will be performing alongside the guest musicians. This ensures that fans will experience the authentic Triumph sound that made them a staple of the hard rock scene during the 1970s and 1980s.
