Taylor Swift made her comeback with her record-breaking tenth studio album ‘Midnights.’ The album, which has occupied the top ten positions on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, also debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200. The musician has now announced a U.S. ‘The Eras Tour’ featuring a roster of artists that will open for her, including Paramore.
“I’m enchanted to announce my next tour: ‘Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour,’” wrote Taylor on Instagram to announce her much-awaited tour. She continued, “A journey through the musical eras of my career, past and present.” However, she won’t be hitting the road alone, as she will take several amazing artists with her to perform on scheduled dates.
The musician explained, “The first leg of the tour will be in stadiums across the U.S., with international dates to be announced as soon as we can! Feeling like the luckiest person alive because I get to take these brilliant artists out on tour with me: Paramore, Beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, Girl In Red, MUNA, HAIM, Gracie Abrams, GAYLE, and OWENN. I can’t wait to see your gorgeous faces out there. It’s been a long time coming.”
Hayley Williams, who will be a part of the upcoming tour with Paramore, wrote on her Instagram account, “So it’s called Tayley, and there’s a whole blog about us.” The singer shared her excitement for the upcoming tour with Taylor Swift with a photograph of them together during an award show. The singer also mentioned the ship name fans have adopted for them as a duo.
Taylor will kick off her tour in U.S. stadiums on March 18, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona, where she launched her 2018 Reputation tour, and will run through August. Twenty-seven dates have been announced, and international dates will be announced later for the tour in 2023.
