He continued to acknowledge the support he has received from fans during this challenging time.

“Thank you all for so many of the positive well wishes that have come my way,” he said. “It really is appreciated!”

Lozinak also emphasized his commitment to returning to music once his recovery is complete.

“If you know me, you know that music is my ultimate passion, and I can’t wait to get back on stage once I’m fully recovered!” he said. “Will be posting more updates when I can!”

The musician’s health challenges began during Hatebreed’s recent European tour. This led to his current medical situation.

Arrow Lords of Metal reported that Lozinak was diagnosed with a noncancerous meningioma brain tumor after symptoms appeared during Hatebreed’s European tour in June 2025. The diagnosis prompted immediate medical evaluation. It led to his decision to leave the tour and return to the United States to prepare for surgery.

Lozinak’s role in Hatebreed has been instrumental since the band’s formation in the 1990s. Knotfest noted that the guitarist has been central to developing the band’s distinctive sound that blends metal and hardcore elements. His guitar work has helped define Hatebreed’s aggressive style throughout their career.

The musician has previously discussed his approach to the band’s music in interviews. Loudwire documented that Lozinak has cited songs like “Looking Down the Barrel of Today” and “Not One Truth” as exemplars of Hatebreed’s metallic hardcore style. These tracks showcase the heavy, rhythmic guitar work that has become synonymous with the band’s sound.

Lozinak’s dedication to his craft extends beyond just performing. He has been involved in shaping Hatebreed’s musical direction since their early days. His commitment to returning to the stage after recovery reflects the deep connection he maintains with both his bandmates and the hardcore metal community that has supported Hatebreed throughout their career.
