Hatebreed has quietly dropped Baltimore hardcore band End It from its upcoming European tour, as reported on the band’s official Instagram. The move comes amid fan speculation that the removal is connected to a controversial incident involving End It at a recent show in Toronto.
The tour was originally billed as a joint run between Hatebreed, Life of Agony, and End It. Hatebreed announced the East Coast Assault on Europe tour with Life of Agony, set for November 2026.
“Took us 20+ years to team up but finally the Hatebreed and Life of Agony East Coast Assault on Europe is coming this November 2026!!” Hatebreed announced. “More info soon, tickets on sale now.”
End It’s name, however, was no longer on the bill, and no official explanation was given for the removal. Fans quickly began connecting the dots to an incident that took place last week in Toronto, where End It reportedly encouraged the crowd to strip a fan who was dressed in a banana costume during their set.
Reactions among fans have been divided. Some urged caution about drawing conclusions too quickly.
“As much as the End It guys are massive douchebags, there isn’t any actual proof that this was because of the banana incident,” one fan said.
Others were far less sympathetic toward the band, pointing to the potential consequences of what allegedly took place on stage.
“Getting a crowd to assault a guy and destroy his property for…. Wearing a banana costume?” another fan said. “Not even being disruptive, just wearing something that I’ve seen dozens of at metal festivals yearly. They’re honestly lucky that they’re not getting sued by the banana man, and especially lucky he didn’t suffer any major injuries.”
Neither Hatebreed nor End It have issued an official statement addressing the removal. Further details on the East Coast Assault on Europe tour are expected to follow.
While the situation surrounding End It’s exit remains officially unexplained, new developments around the tour itself and the broader coverage of the banana incident have added more layers to the story.
The PRP reported that End It disappeared from the opening slot of the tour in the wake of the banana man incident. The outlet noted that no official explanation accompanied the lineup change. Lambgoat similarly described End It as “seemingly removed” from the bill, framing the departure as quiet and unannounced — a characterization that has only fueled speculation among fans.
Adding to the confusion, the lineup change has not been uniformly reflected across ticketing platforms. Eventim still lists End It as support for the Hamburg date on November 16, 2026, suggesting the removal has yet to be fully processed across all official channels. It remains unclear whether the band will ultimately appear at any of the scheduled dates.
Meanwhile, the tour itself has continued to grow. Hatebreed’s Instagram confirmed additional European dates for the East Coast Assault on Europe Tour on June 10, 2026. The band stated that more information is coming soon. The expansion of the tour suggests that Hatebreed and Life of Agony are pressing forward regardless of the controversy surrounding their former support act.
As of now, the banana incident in Toronto remains the central point of discussion, with fan communities on social media continuing to debate End It’s conduct and the appropriateness of their removal. Rock Feed noted that End It appeared on the original tour announcement before being quietly scrubbed from promotional materials — a sequence of events that many fans view as telling, even in the absence of an official statement from either camp.
