Grimes recently shared a post on X, where the singer named the one pop star who could bring the United States together.

A user on the platform initially wrote:

“It’s not just the fact that Taylor Swift, as president, would course correct society and fix carbon emissions in 10 years. It’s that I care about her mental health, and she cares about mine (she doesn’t know me, but she’d care).”

In response to that, Grimes agreed with the impact of Swift on the country and said:

“In many ways, Taylor Swift is the only presidential candidate who can unite the country. Trump v Swift is totally occurring in a parallel universe right now.”

Another user shared the same thoughts with the singer, as they commented:

“I totally was thinking this myself…. She is extremely influential – it’s scary actually….”

Still, another one disagreed and expressed their dissatisfaction with the current options for the presidential election, saying:

“I would vote for a grilled cheese sandwich to be President rather than the choices on option presently, were I an American.”

It is almost impossible to deny Swift’s economic and cultural impact on the USA, as also reflected in the singer’s ongoing ‘The Eras Tour.’ Her tour is boosting the economies of various American cities, as fans are shelling out substantial amounts of money to watch her perform live.

Director of growth marketing at SeatGeek, Chris Leyden, said the following about her influence on the country’s economy:

“Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras’ tour is rewriting the playbook of entertainment economics. She’s not just a performer — she’s an economic phenomenon.”

According to analysts, it is anticipated that the Eras Tour will cross $1 billion by next March. If this prediction proves accurate, she will claim the title of having the biggest tour in music history, surpassing Elton John’s multi-year farewell tour, which concluded earlier this summer and currently holds the record at $939 million.

Swift will hit the road in November for the South American leg of her tour. Then, she will head towards Asia and Australia, followed by European shows in different countries.
