Elton John Duets With Gary Barlow To Sing ‘Your Song’ And Explains His Feelings About It

Sir Elton John collaborated with Gary Barlow to sing his iconic ‘Your Song’ and shared his thoughts about their performance on his official Twitter account.

Your Song is released back in 1970 from the self-titled second album of Elton John, and it peaked number seven in the United Kingdom charts and number eight in the United States Billboard Hot 100 charts.

In the post, Elton pointed out that he has performed so many times Your Song in his career, but there aren’t so many duets he did with this song, which showed why it is special for him.

While Elton was thanking Gary for asking him to make a duet for Your Song and showing his gratitude, Elton also mentioned that he really liked how did they sing together.

Here is what Elton John said:

“I couldn’t begin to count the number of times I’ve performed Your Song, but I haven’t done it many times as a duet. Thank you Gary Barlow for asking me to do this – I love how it turned out!”
