Fear Factory’s Dino Cazares recently addressed speculation about Arch Enemy’s new vocalist search. He discussed the possibility of his Divine Heresy bandmate Lauren Hart joining the Swedish metal band. The guitarist shared his thoughts in a conversation with fans on X.

The discussion began when Cazares asked his followers about potential candidates for Arch Enemy’s vocalist position. He hinted at having insider knowledge about the selection process.

“Who do you think is going to be the new vocalist of Arch Enemy? I have a good guess and it’s not the obvious,” Cazares said.

When a fan suggested that former Arch Enemy vocalist Angela Gossow might return based on social media activity, Cazares provided clarification about her current role with the band.

“She’s managed the band since she’s been out of the band,” he responded.

The conversation took a more personal turn when another fan asked about the implications for Divine Heresy if Lauren Hart were to join Arch Enemy.

“If (hypothetically because we don’t know until we know) Lauren Hart is the new vocalist of Arch Enemy, what does that mean for the future of Divine Heresy? Is that still a possibility or is the band done?” the fan inquired.

Cazares reassured fans about Divine Heresy’s future despite his busy schedule with multiple projects.

“Band’s not done because I’m still here, I’m just busy with my other bands,” he replied.

The speculation surrounding Arch Enemy’s vocalist search has intensified following recent developments within the Swedish metal band. Cryptic social media activity has captured the attention of the metal community worldwide.

Blabbermouth reported that Arch Enemy has been without an official vocalist since Alissa White-Gluz’s departure in November 2025. She served as the band’s frontwoman for 12 years. The timing of White-Gluz’s exit has left fans eagerly awaiting news about who will fill the crucial role in one of metal’s most prominent bands.

The rumors about Angela Gossow’s potential return gained momentum when Metal Injection noted that both Arch Enemy and Gossow shared matching cryptic teasers on social media. These posts featured a hooded figure with a torch. They were simply captioned “2026,” fueling widespread speculation about a possible reunion between the band and their former vocalist.

However, Gossow herself quickly moved to dispel these rumors. Louder Sound confirmed that she made a definitive statement on Instagram addressing the speculation directly.

“It’s not ME! But thank you for all the love! I am really excited to be involved in this new chapter as the manager💪 This is gonna CRUSH!” Gossow wrote. She confirmed her continued role as the band’s manager rather than a return to vocal duties.

Despite Gossow’s denial, Blunt Magazine indicated that Arch Enemy is expected to announce their new lead singer soon. This keeps the metal community on edge as they await the official revelation of who will take the microphone for the band’s next chapter.
