When asked “Is Mike Portnoy going to be on the drum throne [for the Twisted Sister reunion]?” Snider provided a clear explanation.

“Mike Portnoy, who we love and loves us, is back full time with Dream Theater,” Snider said. “Our last official drummer and long time friend Joe Franco has returned to the band!”

The response confirms that Joe Franco will be handling drumming duties for the reunion. Mike Portnoy remains committed to his full-time role with Dream Theater.
