David Lee Roth Explains How He Got Rid Of His Obsessive Stalker After 7 Years

Van Halen’s former frontman and current postmodern visual artist David Lee Roth recently posted a photo on his Twitter account and signaled the beginning of a new story from his life as a rockstar which includes a stalker who’s been after him for 7 years.

Diamond Dave achieved international fame in the late ’70s as the lead vocalist of the iconic band Van Halen. He is known for his great voice, amazing stage performances, and quirky behavior. However, since the beginning of 2020, he has gained a new title; the visual artist of the rock scene.

Following the outbreak of Covid-19, David Lee Roth started concentrating on his career as a visual artist, and after posting a couple of caricatures on his Twitter account, he realized that it’s a very effective medium of communicating his experiences as a rockstar. Since then he has told various stories, the most recent one being about the time he was framed by the police.

With his latest tweet, Roth showed there’s a new story he’s been working on. In his upcoming sketches, the rockstar will tell the story of the stalker that he had for 7 years, who has been prank-calling him from 3 to 9 times a day. This already sounds interesting enough but the fact that they recently stopped for the first time ever after Roth started this comic strip, makes matters even more intriguing.

This is what Diamond Dave said in his recent visual artwork:

“This is my stalker.

There are many like him, but this one is mine.

His name is Dell.

Dell has been prank-calling me between 3 and 9 times a day. Every day except Sunday.

He stopped completely when I started this comic strip.

First time in 7 years.

True story, to be continued…”
