David Crosby Says Roger Waters Is ‘Nuts’

CSNY icon David Crosby recently shared a post on his official Twitter account targeting Roger Waters for his recent controversial political comments in an interview with CNN. The singer described Waters as ‘nuts’ for saying those words.

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters recently appeared on CNN for an interview to discuss his ongoing tour, ‘This Is Not a Drill Tour.’ However, rather than his current musical endeavors, the rocker attracted great media attention with his political statements. He faced a severe backlash after calling Joe Biden a ‘war criminal‘ over Ukraine and stating Taiwan is part of China.

The interview turned into a heated argument when the interviewer Michael Smerconish steered it toward political views. Waters blamed the Biden government for failing the prevent the Ukraine invasion of Russia from taking place. He then went on to defend China for insisting that Taiwan is a part of Communist China. One of the adverse reactions to the rocker came from a fellow musician, David Crosby.

Crosby, who had previously shown his dislike for Waters by saying that he didn’t appeal to him, this time responded to a tweet talking about Waters’ latest controversial statements. In the caption of the video of Waters’ interview on CNN, a Twitter user described his words as ‘driveling sh*t’ and tagged Crosby. Upon seeing this, the singer responded that Roger Waters is a bit ‘nuts,’ implying that he disagrees with his recent political stance.

A Twitter user wrote:

“You know, man, if David Crosby, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, or John Fogerty ever come out with the kind of driveling sh*t that so many rockers lately have been, I’m throwing in the towel.”

David Crosby’s reply:

I’m afraid Roger’s a bit nuts.”
