Dave Grohl Will Reunite With Ex-Nirvana Bandmate To Perform With Dave Lombardo Live On TV

Foo Fighters founder, guitarist, and singer Dave Grohl will be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week with his daughter Violet to perform a cover version of the X track, ‘Nausea,’ and apparently, the duo will be joined by former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and Dead Cross drummer Dave Lombardo.

As many of you might recall, Dave Grohl recently directed a documentary named ‘What Drives Us’ with an all-star guest list includes Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea, in which these rock icons open up about their early experienced when they first started making music.

Former Nirvana drummer and his 15-year-old daughter Violet who previously performed on stage with his father even at an earlier age recorded their X cover of the track, ‘Nausea’ for the soundtrack to Dave Grohl’s forthcoming documentary film ‘What Drives Us.’ In an earlier interview with BBC, Grohl praised his daughter and stated that she’s the best vocalist in the family.

Here is what Grohl said:

Violet is an incredibly talented musician. She can pick up an instrument and learn it within a week. She has perfect pitch and sings from her gut.”

While the father-and-daughter duo will be performing the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live on April 27, Dave Lombardo and Krist Novoselic will also be performing along with them. The upcoming performance is going to be a reunion of two former bandmates as Novoselic was the former bassist of Nirvana and the fans cannot wait to see the two performing together once again.
