In a recent interview with American Music Supply, Zakk Wylde expressed his willingness to join Black Sabbath if Ozzy Osbourne decides to tour again.

Wylde demonstrated his dedication to the Osbournes when discussing a potential Black Sabbath tour with Ozzy. “Of course, they’re like my parents. I love them so whatever they want to do,” he stated.

“[If they want me to] clean up the dog run before they have company over, I go do it,” Wylde continued. “Or [if they said] like bring milk and eggs over, I do it.”

His statement reflects a long-standing loyalty to Ozzy Osbourne. Their collaboration has flourished extensively since the late 1980s.

The bond between Wylde and Osbourne has grown stronger over three decades. Their partnership has yielded multiple successful collaborations and maintained mutual respect.

Ultimate Classic Rock documented Wylde’s remarkable debut with Ozzy. The guitarist first performed with Osbourne on July 28, 1987, at Wormwood Scrubs Prison in the UK.

Their professional relationship spans multiple periods. Wylde served as Ozzy’s guitarist from 1987 to 1992. He returned for additional stints in the 1990s and 2000s before rejoining the band in 2017.

Far Out Magazine captured Ozzy’s perspective on their relationship. The legendary vocalist highlighted Wylde’s status as his longest-serving guitarist. He emphasized that Wylde is more than a bandmate – he’s a true family member.

This deep personal connection and extensive professional history position Wylde as an ideal candidate for future Black Sabbath performances. His involvement would be natural if Ozzy chooses to return to touring.
