Motionless In White has canceled their show in Madrid due to health issues.

Frontman Chris Motionless took to social media to share the news with his fans. “Madrid, I am regretfully here to inform you that we will have to miss tonight’s show due to the ongoing illness I am trying to recover from. As I learned while performing last night in Barcelona, I am not yet healthy enough to give the performance that the fans want, or the performance that we want to give. I’m happy I gave it a shot, but this is the best option to move forward without any further issues.”

“Although it is disappointing, we know this is for the greater good and I thank you for your understanding and your well wishes,” he continued. Tickets and VIP’s for Madrid are now available for a refund and we will be working on trying to come back as soon as possible.”

The rocker also thanked his fans in Zurich and Lyon for their patience with the previously canceled shows. “Zürich and Lyon, thank you for your patience as we are working on reschedule options for your shows as well. We very much look forward to getting back to normal starting this Friday in Toulouse. As always, we appreciate you and thank you for sticking with us. We’ll see you back out there Friday.”

The news came only a few days after the band canceled their upcoming shows in Zurich and Lyon during their ‘Touring The End Of The World’ EU/UK Tour.

Chris Motionless shared an update, explaining that the cancellations were due to a flu outbreak among the band members. “Zurich and Lyon. I am deeply sorry to bring you the bad news, but we will have to postpone our next 2 shows in your cities. Over the last few days, multiple members of the band have come down with an aggressive case of the flu, and we must try to rest as much as we can to hopefully put it behind us quickly.”

“This is the most sick I have been on a tour in a long time, and it breaks my heart to miss shows, but we have to look out for the greater good of our health,” the singer added.

The rest of the tour continues as scheduled, with their next show to take place on the 7th in Toulouse, France.
