Chris Cornell’s Daughter Celebrates Vicky’s Mother’s Day With The Help Of Her Late Father

Chris Cornell’s daughter Toni recently posted a photo of her mother Vicky and her father on her Instagram stories and recalled how she felt whenever her father would look at her mother, and celebrated her Vicky’s Mother’s Day.
As you may recall, May 18, 2017, was a very tough day for the rock scene as millions mourned the passing of the legendary vocalist, songwriter, and music genius, Chris Cornell. The 52 years old musician had been suffering from depression for a long time and following a successful performance at Fox Theatre, Cornell returned to his hotel room, where he was found dead the next morning.
Special days are often hard for people who’ve lost their loved ones, and even though the Cornell family has its mother, celebrating such emotional days while someone’s missing from the table can be hard. Thus, Chris Cornell’s daughter Toni decided to celebrate her mother’s special day through the eyes of her father.
Toni Cornell said that Chris and Vicky’s love was so great that it would give him a reason to stay alive, and encourage him to forget about everything that was troubling him. Toni said ‘when my dad looked at my mom, the world disappeared.’ She went on to say that she deeply loves Vicky and to exclaim that she’s their everything.
Here’s how Toni Cornell celebrated Vicky’s mother’s day:
“When my dad looked at my mom, the world disappeared. I love you, Vicky Cornell, you’re our everything.”
