Chester Bennington’s Widow Says She Would Give Anything To Have Him Back On The Anniversary Of His Death
Late Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington‘s wife Talinda Ann Bennington shared a post on her official Instagram page revealing a beautiful photo of the musician on his fourth death anniversary. While sharing a touching message about her late husband, Talinda also expressed how much she’s missed Chester and that she’d do anything to get him back.
As some of you might know, Chester Bennington married Talinda Ann Bennington, a former Playboy model, in 2006. The couple has three children together, Tyler Lee Bennington who was born on March 16, 2006, and twins Lily and Lila, born on November 9, 2011.
It was a well-known fact that Chester Bennington was struggling with depression and often expressed how he had been trying to get out of his head during interviews. After his fans saw the musician having a good time with his family in multiple pictures and videos, many forgot what depression looked like since despite an individual may seem okay on the surface, they may be suffering from mental health issues inside, just like Bennington.
While on vacation in Arizona with his wife Talinda and their family, the Linkin Park singer returned home alone, and unfortunately, he was found dead by his housekeeper at his home in Palos Verdes Estates, California in July 20, 2017. The musician’s death was ruled a suicide by hanging and a toxicology report released in December reported a trace amount of alcohol in Bennington’s system.
It’s been four years now that the music world has been without Chester Bennington, and his wife Talinda shared a post on her official Instagram page to reminisce the brilliant musician on his death anniversary. While sharing a goofy picture of Chester with a radiant smile on his face, Talinda shared an emotional message about the late singer that brought tears to his fans’ eyes.
Chester Bennington’s wife started her words by revealing that he made everything better and his family misses him every single second of the day. In addition to this, Talinda stated that Chester was the best person she has ever met and that she would give anything in the world to have him back so that his kids could see him one more time. Fortunately, they have plenty of videos and pictures to remember the Linkin Park singer by, which bring joy to their world.
The caption in Talinda’s IG post follows:
“You always had a way to make us all laugh. You always made everything better. And when you put this lettuce cup on your head to make us laugh because our food was taking forever, you made everything better once again. I’m so glad that the kids and I have vast amounts of pictures and videos to remember you by.
We miss you every second of every day. You were the best person I have ever known. I see you in our babies every day. Lily is your mini-me, with her looks and beautiful voice. Tyler has your wit, intellect, looks, and the same obsession for trying to figure out space and time. And Lila, she has your heart of gold.
When they were newborns, you wrote your hopes and dreams for them. God must have seen what you wrote because they are truly everything you wished for them to be. I know you can see them. I would give anything to have you back so they could see you.
But that’s why we have our entire life together on home videos. I’m glad I never stopped recording. Today we will watch some of them and remember how fucking amazing you were. I love you. R.I.P.”
