Watch James Hetfield’s Son Castor Performing Live With Bastardane

James Hetfield’s son and drummer Castor Hetfield recently appeared during a live concert with his band Bastardane on May 13 at Smith’s Olde Bar in Atlanta. The new group’s outstanding performance got critical acclaim from metalheads and music journalists.
The Savannah-based hard rock trio, including Dallas, Sirotzki, and Hetfield, was founded in 2019, and they shared their debut single ‘Wealthy Fantasy’ in the following year. After ‘Above All’ and ‘Let the Wasted Die,’ Bastardane released their first studio album ‘Is This Rage?’ on March 12, 2022. Their high gain riffs, power chord grooves, and well-written lyrics contributed to the positive reviews on the latest record.
In addition, following Metallica’s San Francisco Takeover appearance alongside Taipei Houston and Otto, their recent Atlanta concert was appreciated a lot. Drummer Castor Hetfield showed that he could be his father’s successor to the heavy metal music throne by creating his unique style. Bastardane will appear on more shows, from small bars to more crowded places considering their talents and performances.
The band members have been promoting their new record through events, festivals, and concerts. Bastardane’s White Knuckle U.S. Tour’s second leg will begin on June 11, 2022, in Costa Mesa, California, and it will end on July 1, 2022, in Jacksonville, Florida. Possibly, it will be a great demand for the tour tickets to witness Bastardane’s promising shows after their reputation.
