Former KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick has announced his first public appearance following a major open-heart surgery. His participation in Gene Simmons’ Legends of Rock Expo in Las Vegas marks a significant milestone in his recovery.

Kulick shared details about the event, highlighting a special reunion with his former KISS bandmates Gene Simmons and Eric Singer during the Revenge-era photo opportunity.

“Looking forward to being part of Gene Simmons’ Legends of Rock Expo in Las Vegas, September 25-27!” Kulick said. “I’ll be signing, taking photos, and celebrating with many amazing rock legends.”

The guitarist also revealed a particularly memorable moment planned for fans of the classic KISS lineup.

“I will reunite with Gene Simmons and Eric Singer for a special Revenge-era photo op during the weekend,” he continued. “Hope to see many of you there!”

The Legends of Rock Expo is scheduled for September 25–27 in Las Vegas. The event will mark Kulick’s return to the public stage following his recent open heart surgery.

The Vegas appearance carries added weight given the shared history between Kulick, Simmons, and Singer — a bond forged during one of KISS’s most celebrated creative periods.

Kulick joined KISS in 1984 and remained with the band until 1996. He served as a cornerstone of the group’s lineup throughout the late 1980s and early 1990s, spanning some of the band’s most commercially and critically significant years outside of the original lineup era.

The Revenge album was released on May 19, 1992. It is widely regarded as the band’s last great creative statement of that era, featuring Kulick alongside Simmons, Singer, and Paul Stanley. The record is remembered for its harder, more aggressive sound compared to the band’s late-1980s output.

The upcoming Revenge-era photo op at the Legends of Rock Expo will reunite three of the four musicians from that lineup. The event is centered on rock memorabilia, fan meet-and-greets, and artist appearances, making it a fitting stage for Kulick’s return.

For Kulick, the Las Vegas event represents more than a professional engagement — it is a personal milestone. Having undergone major open heart surgery, his participation signals a meaningful step forward in his recovery. He has framed the appearance as both a return to work and a celebration of the music and community that have defined his career.
