REO Speedwagon’s Bruce Hall has shared an emotional message about the upcoming reunion concert on his Facebook page.

“None of us knows how long we have, how many gigs we’ll play, or how many lives we have left to affect,” Hall said. “So enjoy every person, every moment, and every note. Because we don’t get to do this forever.”

“This really hits home. You guys have no idea how excited Neal, Alan & I are for June 14th,” he continued. “I love the warmth of the spotlight, I need the sound of the people screaming. Here we are to bring down the ceiling! Grab your tickets and come celebrate our music with us! The video production is going to be unreal with not a bad seat in the house!”

REO Speedwagon announced a one-night concert this year after ending their touring career. Kevin Cronin remains absent from this reunion. He claimed the date was unsuitable, though Hall previously denied these claims.

The upcoming reunion represents more than just a musical gathering.

Ultimate Classic Rock revealed the concert will feature six former members in Champaign, Illinois. The lineup includes Neal Doughty, Alan Gratzer, Bruce Hall, Terry Luttrell, Mike Murphy, and Steve Scorfina.

The event serves a noble cause. Ultimate Classic Rock highlighted that proceeds will support a cancer research foundation. This tribute honors the memory of late band members Gary Richrath and Gregg Philbin.

Consequence reported Kevin Cronin’s separate musical path. He will tour with his band alongside Styx and Don Felder in ‘The Brotherhood of Rock Tour’ starting May 2025.

Vinyl Me Please documented Cronin’s public disappointment about his exclusion. This situation underscores ongoing tensions among the band’s legacy members.
