Brittany Furlan recently chatted with People and revealed how she berated Tommy Lee for cheating on Heather Locklear while calling the actress ‘the love of Lee’s life.
The comedian had previously discussed her ‘close friendship’ with Locklear, but this time around, she delved deeper into that ‘relationship,’ explaining how ‘nice’ Heather was while comparing the actress to Tommy’s other ex, Pamela Anderson, saying:
“There’s a lot that goes on that I don’t share publicly that kept that from happening, [but] she’s very, very nice, so I’ve managed to have a relationship with her, and I am so grateful for that. She tells me funny stories. Everyone glorifies his relationship with Pam, but he was married to Heather for [nearly] eight years!”
Furlan then shared why she thought Locklear was Lee’s one true love rather than Anderson:
“She was the love of his life. I see it because she’s just a fun, sweet, caring, awesome person. Tommy even says he messed up in that relationship. He cheated on her. To this day, that’s why they’re still really good friends.”
The former Vine star also recalled scolding her husband for ‘cheating’ on Heather:
“I yell at my husband, I’m like, ‘I can’t believe you cheated on her. She’s so cool.’ That was a different time. He was 25 years old, 26 years old. Not to make excuses, but he’s a very different man now from all those years ago. You live, and you learn.”
Mötley Crüe drummer had previously called Locklear ‘the one that got away’ in the band’s collective 2002 memoir, ‘Dirt,’ which adds to the context of why Brittany might think the actress was ‘the one’ for Lee.
Well, the couple were married for seven years, as the actress and the rocker tied the knot in 1986 and finalized their relationship in 1993. Still, as Furlan stated, they now seem to be on friendly and better terms.
However, although Furlan might enjoy her friendship with Heather, the comedian’s relationship with Lee’s other exes hasn’t been this good, or at least she hasn’t been on the best terms with Pamela Anderson, as you can check out how she accused Anderson for being a ‘liar.’
